Plain dutch weave wire cloth are manufactured in plain weave pattern, whereby the warp wires are interwoven with wider spaces than the weft wires. The surface of the plain dutch weaves is closed so that the filtration occurs at the point where warp and weft join. Plain dutch weaves are a key feature of filter meshes; they are available from a fineness of 40 μm up to a fineness of 300 μm.
